A Pawsitive Influence currently consists of myself (Karin) and my back up, Nick, a certified veterinary technician. I started this business in January of 2008. Between the two of us, we have over 15 years of animal and pet care experience! For us, animals and pet care is not just a hobby – it is truly a passion and career.
We will care for your pet as we do our own. While we understand that we can never take your place in your pet’s heart, we hope to become one of their best friends!
When we’re not working, we are busy taking care of our own animal family, which includes a senior pit bull and chow chow, an old ornery Persian cat, a feisty Siamese cat, a tank full of fish and baby angelfish when our pair decides the time is right, a bossy green cheek conure, and various reptiles, amphibians – even a tarantula! We also periodically take in fosters and strays (when time and space permits) as we participate in a Trap-Neuter-Return program for stray cats in our Pilsen neighborhood.
